King Tutz Herbal Incense Review

Posted August 22nd, 2011 by IncenseKing

King Tutz Herbal Incense was given to us by Legal Enjoy: The Herbal Incense store. Now to be honest we were not expecting much from this blend as it is only $3/g retail. Its even cheaper($1.3/g) when you buy an ounce. However, we were wrong!

Upon first opening the bag it smelled absolutely delicious. You almost want to take a spoon and eat it up!  The herbs were made of a fine marshmallow leaf, which is usually the best in terms of a nice slow burn. It did have some small stem peaces, but nothing to make the blend extremely harsh. It was very fluffy and had a smooth texture.

Upon putting it in our  incense burner we found our aromatherapy session to last longer then we would expect for a cheap blend(1 hour), after all it was recommended for people new to aromatherapy. The blend was not overwhelming. It  kicked in nice and slow,   and we actually found it to be one of those mellow but long lasting blends, something we would expect for noob friendly blend but at half the price.

We wanted to be fair when reviewing this blend, so we brought along a friend who is new to aromatherapy for a session. He absolutely loved it! He reported it to have a perfect balance and considered it strong, while lasting 2 hours. He loved it so much that he did a couple of more sessions afterwards.

At $40 an ounce this blend is amazing. For novices and daily use this blend is perfect as it is not overwhelming and definitely the best deal we have seen anywhere. We highly recommend this blend for novices,  however more experienced users should purchase "The Legendary" blend made by the same people who make "King Tutz."
